ReplyDeleteYes, violence is all over us. In France numerous women are always dying every year and there is all the other violences against poor people and at the moment against strangers. I think is a real shame for my country. Thanks for this post, Suko !
ReplyDeleteThis is such an important issue. Domestic violence affects so many, and the children suffer as well. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us, Suko. It sounds like a topic that needs to be addressed, and I am sending out kudos to the blogging community for doing this!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great thing you are doing. I wish I had known about this earlier. I wish more people brought attention to this important issue.
ReplyDeleteAn important issue to be aware of, thanks for bringing it to our attention. i have to say that it does annoy me when some people see it as an issue that only affects women as though not nearly as common we should all be aware that men are also victims of domestic abuse as of course are children.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to highlight this day. I am proud to say that this has been a big campaign at our office for the past 4 years, raising awareness through fliers, cards, posters and books.
ReplyDeleteSuko, thank you so much for adding your voice to Speak Out. I'm sorry it's taken me son long to stop by and comment. It's been difficult reading so many accounts of abuse in the linky and I've had to pace myself.
ReplyDeleteBTW, a fellow WWF junkie here, I'm at kbxmas!
