Today is the day to "Speak Out". Hosted by Kristin from Wanderlust, the purpose of Speak Out is to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence, which affects countless millions of people worldwide. Males as well as females can be victims of domestic violence.Bloggers today around the world will post, tweet, share their own stories about domestic violence, and provide direct links to domestic violence resources. This event precedes the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, on November 25.

ReplyDeleteYes, violence is all over us. In France numerous women are always dying every year and there is all the other violences against poor people and at the moment against strangers. I think is a real shame for my country. Thanks for this post, Suko !

ReplyDeleteAn important issue to be aware of, thanks for bringing it to our attention. i have to say that it does annoy me when some people see it as an issue that only affects women as though not nearly as common we should all be aware that men are also victims of domestic abuse as of course are children.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to highlight this day. I am proud to say that this has been a big campaign at our office for the past 4 years, raising awareness through fliers, cards, posters and books.
